Kelly Floyd : I really missed being there for yesterday's game but I did not want to get any of the kids or parents sick. Matao and I were anxiously awaiting for the outcome of the game. We are very proud of the team and the coaches. That is the way to win again!!

Thank you everyone! We sold all the squares in the pool - the Arvada Panthers raised $250! Congratulations to the winners... 1st Qtr Saints 0 Colts 10 - winner BIG JOHN 2nd Qtr Saints 6 Colts 10 - winner MULLINS 3rd Qtr Saints 16 Colts 17 - winner SANCHEZ 4th Qtr Saints 31 Colts 17 - winner KIRK The winners each won $62.50! To the Arvada Panther Players: Thank you for all your hard work, dedication and sweat! Thank you for keeping up on your homework and staying out of trouble. Thank you for looking after your teammates and treating them with respect! It was a pleasure to watch and cheer for you on Saturdays! You are AMAZING boys and players! To our amazing Panther Coaches: Thank you for donating your time! Thank you for being the coaches you are. Thank you for not only teaching our boys football, but teaching our sons lessons that will stay with them the rest of their lives. To Kelly, Team Manager: Thank you for keeping us all in line and organized! You go girl! Good Luck to you and Cary in your Floyd's Brewing Company endeavour. To the Panther Parents: Thank you for all your dedication! Thank you for making this team successful...it takes each and everyone one of you to make this team what it is. Thank you for caring and being supportive of your son and the other 21 players (and your husband that coaches). Thank you for rearranging your life for the Arvada Panthers football season! Thank you all for providing snacks, drinks & oranges, working the chain gang, play counting (Cary Floyd), helping at the Spaghetti dinner, tracking down donations for the silent auction, gathering up sponsors, bringing the team benches to the games (the Sanchez family), managing the water jugs for games (Dave & Michellee Britton and Cheryl & Dave Bronner) , displaying the Team/Sponsor banners at all the games (Louis & Susie Carpentier), and thank you for just being GREAT PARENTS TO YOUR KIDS!* To the Panther Fans: Thank you for cheering for the Arvada Panthers every Saturday! Arvada Panthers win 2009 JMFA Honor & Integrity Award!

Email from JMFA.... Hello Football Families: Your team has won the JMFA Honor & Integrity Award for 2009 as evaluated by the officials, your opponents and JMFA reps. All of us at JMFA congratulate you on this achievement! Your team has set the standard for Player, Coach & Spectator Behavior and Sportsmanship in your Grade and Division this season. The H&I Award Ceremony is Saturday November 21^st at 5pm at the Carnation Bowl. The location is still undetermined, as soon as we know you will be notified. Please have your team at the Stadium no less than 20 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony – all Players should wear their Jerseys. We at JMFA look forward to seeing all of you and celebrating with you as you are presented with this award. JOB WELL DONE! ~JMFA Webster's describes sportsmanship as the qualities and behaviors of a person who can take a loss or defeat without complaint, a victory without gloating, and who treats his opponents with fairness, generosity, courtesy and respect. This definition applies not only to the athletes on the field, but also to the coaches and spectators who come to participate in the game.
